This incredibly steep, but short, climb to the cell tower is a favourite lookout spot in Black Mountain for the setting sun over the city. With much better views than the neigboring official Black Mountain Viewpoint trail, it may not exist for long! As of May 2019 it is getting strangled by development on all sides.

Detailed Directions

1) Follow Highway 97/Harvey from downtown Kelowna EAST towards Vernon.
2) Turn RIGHT onto Highway 33 into Rutland.
3) Turn LEFT onto Loseth Dr when entering Black Mountain.
4) Park on the right side of the road on Loseth Drive just past Mine Hill Dr. Trail is on the left.
